# MCP Clients

> Use Conductor from Cursor, Claude Desktop, and other MCP-compatible clients.

Conductor's MCP server lets editors and assistants call into the orchestrator directly instead of forcing everything through the browser.

## Good uses for MCP

* dispatching a new task from the editor
* checking active sessions without changing windows
* listing configured projects
* inspecting task state from a client already aware of your repo
